This beautiful Liberty quilt was made by Claire Tripconey for the Alice Caroline Quilt SOS project last year. This lovely quilt is a ‘Rainbow Ombre Quilt’ which means it’s made of gorgeous rainbow colours and tones which graduate from light to dark. I can’t believe that we launched the project nearly a year ago now. It has been a whirlwind of excitement and emotions all at the same time. I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of beautiful Liberty quilts being made by my customers.
I was so overwhelmed by the quilts made by lots of very kind hearted ladies that I have decided to blog them. I will try and give them care and attention just as their makers did. Now that the quilts are with the children in Romania I feel that I can focus on the sheer beauty of the quilts by sharing them with you one at a time – it may take a while!
Some of the detail from this beautiful Liberty quilt. The rainbow colours are so warming to the heart – I do love a good rainbow quilt.
Thank you Claire for making such a beautiful Liberty quilt for the Quilt SOS project.
Claire used one of our Quilt SOS Rainbow packs to make her quilt. If you would like to make an SOS Quilt for the 2017 project than please see our Quilt SOS packs here and learn more about the project here
