I have a New Fabrics Launch! I thought you might like to see some other gorgeous fabrics from ‘Cotton and Steel’ and ‘Moda’. I’ve chosen these both to blend with your sewing projects and, well, just because I love them!
There are just so many fabrics out there today, but these are some of the ones that have caught my eye.
There are pretty and delicately patterned white on white Moda fabrics. The patterns range from birds, flowers and leaves to snowflakes so will compliment many projects. The delicate patterned background lifts the fabric in a lovely gentle way. I chose these as they enhance Liberty fabrics so well which means that you can develop more intricate designs.
Fabulous Cotton and Steel blenders and individual designs. I absolutely love this peacock design below. The gold is really rich and luxurious and am wondering what to make with it. The dotted fabrics are really great colours too and with a name like Champagne, who can resist?
I’ve used the Moda fabrics in this Stary Irish Chain quilt. The plain fabrics really bring out the design as well as showing the Liberty fabrics off to their best.
I’ve also used the Moda newsprint design in one of my latest quilts designed for Popular Patchwork. This one is called the Sweet Liberty Quilt. You can buy the kit to make this modern design here. I’ve mixed the design in with pretty Liberty florals and bold plain colours to give the quilt a dramatic finish. These classy monochrome quilting fabric range looks fabulous on its own as well as complimenting projects.
I love the designs of the Cotton and Steel fabrics. Beautiful and really modern florals alongside rather cute jungle prints. The fabrics below are all designed by the Rifle paper Company who I absolutely love. Their designs are simple and yet so beautiful.
You can shop the New Fabrics Launch here. As ever, happy shopping and sewing.
