Liberty Fabric Tana Lawn Lee Manor B

£5.20 - £22.50 / FatQ - Mtr

Liberty’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection, ‘A Palace Garden’ is inspired by Eltham Palace, a former royal residence in South East London used by Tudor kings and queens dating back to the 14th century. In 1933 the palace was revived by new owners, Stephen and Virginia Courtauld who transformed the interiors into a masterpiece of the fashionable Art Deco style that was sweeping Europe.

It is this juxtaposition of opposing styles that inspires this collection.  Art Deco and traditional English symbolism have been combined to create an array of printed textiles filled with rhythm, colour and surprise.

From Liberty about the design of Lee Manor B:

The ornamental character of this botanical paisley is reminiscent of mosaics and the typical Venetian glasswork technique of Millefiori. Named after Arthur Liberty’s country estate.
